I decided to make a little experiment and try to do this YCH thing :3 No worries, this will no replace my regular comissions just right now I´m a bit short of both time and money and open a regular comission batch isn´t a option. I don´t like to just ask for money in exchange for nothing, so I think this will be a nice way to get some extra bits and offer something that I don´t do for comishes :).
So how this will work:
I will put a comment where you will be able to bid replying to it
The minimum increase bid will be $5
As bigger the winning bid
The deadline is at this friday midnight(GMT -6)
As with regular comissions, I´ll start the pic after the payment is done, if for any reason the winner isn´t able to pay, the bidder behind him will get the pic.
Any bids made within one hour of the expiration time extend the expiration time by one additional hour.

I would suggest the following changes to the rules of the bidding:
-Minimum *increase* is $5
-Any bids made within one hour of the expiration time extend the expiration time by one additional hour.
And, if you want:
-Autobuy is current maximum bid +$50 (ie, bidding stops if someone does this and they automatically get this).
It should go without saying, but anyone who enters fraudulently should be reported to the moderators and properly punished.

Sorry, I've just never been able to fathom the YCH's. If it was like, get a pre-posed character at 1/2 off normal commission price, I would be all over this like top pony is with bottom pony. Instead I'm being asked to pay more for the right to shoot myself in the foot. It's like that bit in Bioshock Infinite where those men are engaged in a lowest-bidder war for the right to take on a job worth far more.

Nothing personal, mind you, just some Sour Grapes since I'm too much of a cheap bastard to throw my money at it like this and the posing is perfect for something I had in mind. Like seeing a really awesome roller coaster except when you you get there you find the "You must be this tall" sign is higher than you are.
