Thiiis is an interesting one. I imagine most of you already know who Strype is to some degree - a while back he opened up some themed portrait commissions. Whilst I was interested in the theme, I missed the initial rush to get a pic from him, and stated my disappointment at missing the oppurtunity in the comments - whilst further stating I hoped to get something from him in the future.
Weeeell a couple of months down the line he contacted me via the Note system, saying he had some space open if I was wanting one of those themed pieces from him. However, at the same time, he stated an interest in doing a pic of Kath instead if I wanted. And well... I'm not one to turn down an artist showing an interest - I jumped right on it. And I'm glad I did, because look at this fantastic result!
In this particular case, I wanted to get a pic of Kath in her more 'normal' outfit. Got dozens of pics of her as the Barbarian King... yet I was lacking in any of her in her ever-day actual clothing. As such, with the oppurtunity ahead, I asked Strype to show her as she was in her more normal clothing. And here we are!

character owner: This is incredibly detailed and full of atmosphere of a really interesting character (I'm in love *_* :D)
I want to ask in a humble way, if I could
1. set the colors on black and white / or maybe there is a line art which I am allowed to use
2. print it and
3 (re)color it (with credit to the artist) to learn more and led me lead by the atmosphere of your artwork and the characters/scenery. This means: No commercial use, just uploading it to my 'gallery' with credit to you and linking to the original artwork.

Ack, was meant to respond to this ages ago, I'm terrible at keeping track of it!
Whilst personally I'd be happy for you to give it a shot, I'd say you probably want to check with the original artist for permissions to alter their work. I own the character, but the art itself was made by Strype, so you may wanna check in with them!
