Ugh. I really do not like this. I did it this way because anytime I tried drawing it out, it didn't look right.

Granted that this is somethin' kinda sweet.

Anyways, this takes place after the time when Leonardo fought against Karai when he returned from Japan.

Beforehand when he returned and recieved news from April that his brothers and sensei were destroyed, he was also given NiNi's bandanna that was torn up. (Kind of like something to make him more tempted to go after Karai) So he ends up taking the bandanna and tying it around one of his katana.

NiNi apparently got captured by Karai as a form of security. (NiNi during battle in the lair was knocked out in the end making her of course lose against Karai). If Leonardo didn't show up, then she would be killed by Karai.

This is their conversation after getting away from Karai.

Nuff' said.
