Horse riding Collab
Umeko, queen of the moon, and her horse Nagareboshi, sorta challenging Bothan who isn't used to ride such a big horse.
... Even if Kitsune is a rookie, she couldn't help but to find some pleasure to ride so fast, defying the gravity.
My part of a collab with Umeko. She will certainly do the colors.
Don't tell me that I s*ck at horse anatomy, I sorta know that and I passed time to use references for this one, now to notice that they're too big for the riders. Dang.
Umeko has marks that I haven't drawn here, fearing that it may be hard to color with her technics.

Lined the 30th June 2008. Will be colored by Umeko.

I have seen worse horses. (pun intended)
anyway, nice picture, and a bit playful, too. long flowing hair and everything give the sense of movement. the winged one could have used bigger feathers in the wings, but there. since no one has ever seen one alive it's hard to tell how big they'd have to be...
the horses topo large? with umeko maybe, but I can't tell with Bothan. thing is, there are quite high riding horses around. I had a school horse with almost 1,90m at the shoulders... switching to a smaller horse takes some getting used to, though. :)

My inspiration was some old Disney and some old animes, like the Three Musketeers or Sherlock Holmes by Miyasaki. And that game starring Fox Mc Cloud on the Snes =P
But as I will always says, I'm not just an anthro artist, I do anime too, so I should point several animes as well, like Chronicles of Lodoss War or Evangelion
