Please note: This story is based off of the computer game "Master of Orion II: Battle at Antares". The races herein are copyright Microprose but the story and characters are of my making.

This is a science fiction story which takes place many years in the future. Mankind is quickly coming to understand that there are numerous sentient beings out there... some friendly... some not.

The story follows events as they unfold in the lives of four siblings. The chapters to be presented will cycle through the four of them with a fair degree of linear progression, though several half chapters will pop up now and again to provide point of view perspective from one or more characters.

Chapters for this story will range from General to Adult (I will attempt to have the story make as much sense as possible to those readers that can only access General submissions). Many chapters are expected to include adult material including but not limited to blood, gore, harsh language, and adult situations.

This chapter is flagged General as it does not contain any of the above. This is chapte 2 for the story, but is going to be the first chapter that General readers can see... but there's enough background information that it shouldn't be too much of an issue. This chapter provides information and the goings-on with earth during this time period and some behind-the-scenes government activities.

The next chapter, Chapter 3, will likely be flagged Adult due to some more NC-17 rated material and will introduce another one of the four main characters. I plan to have it posted toward the end of the week.
