Scene-13
~Before the start of the 6th race~
Heya! I'm No.29, a Rabbit hybrid. Nice to meet you! Never thought I'd meet a great Gunwarrior like you in here. You got my respect, pal!
I see you're participating for the next Race Event. The next race track is going to be called "Hoppity Paradise" where the use of Speed Jump is emphasized. You better have enough stamina if you want to reach top places and hop across the wide pits, hmhmhm.
Me? As you can see, I'm pretty much confident with this race track because I designed it myself.
Yes, I designed the racetrack myself. Ever since Gunwarriors use the Speed Jump it became a very popular technique. Then I had this idea to create a racetrack for this purpose; which one is much better with the Speed Jump maneuver? Then the rest is history.
Yes? Oh, thanks for your concern, but I'm fine with having less sponsors. I get most of my income from people who pays to watch the race in my racetrack.
I just want to tell you something before the race begins: I rarely see you use the Speed Jump so I thought maybe you could use some tips.
No.31 already told you about it? Well, that's not enough. You must also know the dangers behind the Speed Jump, especially to beginners like you. Keep your ears open, I'm gonna explain it to you.
The Speed Jump consumes a lot of your stamina and it's only good for reaching high places, the downside is that you can't control your trajectory while in mid-air, so concentrate on where you want to jump or you'll be wasting stamina. Another to concern about is the landing. Speed Jump uses a tremendous amount of force to give you that big leap, so that also means your landing will be hard and rough. You must time your landing with your legs to make sure you won't stumble as you hit the ground. If you can't perfect your landing, then you're in for a terrible pain.
I suggest that you practice this maneuver when not in an Event. You're No.58, darn it, I know you can perfect this in no time!
Well, there goes the signal. Better head to the starting line. You better watch out for No.23. She was infamous for her sharpshooting skills back in her days, but because of what happened to her good eye her shooting skills kinda got a bit rusty... but that doesn't mean she's not a threat in the arena anymore. That kitty can still shoot and capable to hit your head as soon as you expose yourself.
Excuse me? You're friends with her? Heh, no wonder why she's going easy on you. A bit unfair, but I understand.
Hmmm? What happened to her eye? Well... --Oh! No time, the race is about to start. Let's go! And good-luck!
