When Fuwa and Flinn were little Flinn would often see Fuwa sitting out in a field of flowers so one day he felt brave enough to proclaim his adoration of her by getting her a flower. Only it seems he misunderstood her like of flowers. Where he ate rocks and such she liked to dine on the delicate flowers. Woops...
He still delivers flowers to her... and she still eats them.

Shortly after their meeting Fuwa began to follow him around cus he gave her a flower. XD He didn't mind because the girl he liked was following him around. If anyone made fun of it he'd punch them. He then became super protective of her and gets jealous if she's hanging around anyone else. He's very possessive too... She however.. just does her own thing all the time so now it more looks like he follows her around everywhere. If she tells him to do something he does it right away. Wonder who the pet actually is? XD

Except the roll changed as they got older. When they were young she followed him... now that they're older he follows her everywhere. But since you said kitten I can't help but picturing him hissing at anyone as they walk who gets too close to them. XD
It's hard to think how exactly Tyr got on Flinn's good side but now that he's there he's part of the protection pack. Kinda like how a cat hisses at all the dogs... but then this one comes up and it's all ... I'm okay with him. Maybe not affectionate.. but allowed near. XD
