This commission kind of bummed me out. I found someone in the forums looking to commission this character. I was genuinely excited when I read the character description, and elated when they chose me for the commission. I got so excited that I immediately started working on a sketch, even though there was going to be a delay on payment for a couple of days. Unfortunately, the client hit a rough patch and was unable to send payments.

I went ahead and decided to finish it anyway, minus a few details since I'm no longer being paid for it. Hopefully the client will be able to commission me for its completion someday, but I'm not holding out hope. So, I finished what I wanted and added a big fat watermark.

If someone were feeling so kind as to buy the commission for the client, you can contact me and I will give you the details (client was quoted $40). If someone does offer such generosity, I will complete the work to the client's specifications, remove the watermark and sign the piece. If you pay for the completion, you will also gain rights to post the work on your FA page like an adoption (one time unaltered post).

THIS IS A ONE TIME EVENT!
Please do not contact me for a commission in the hopes that I will have it mostly complete before backing out on payment. I don't believe this is what happened with this client, but I want to make it clear that this is the first and last time I will do anything beyond a rough sketch before receiving payment. I don't want anyone trying to take advantage of this one time event.
