The newest member of my hamster family! Meet Merle, the Syrian hamster :) my mum named him after Merle Dixon from The Walking Dead cause she can't cope with the fact he died
I haven't had a Syrian for like 8 years, so it's odd having such a big hammy compared to my dwarves xD
He's still a bit timid but he's getting better :) and such a poser!

This is an amazing picture! I don't know about the specifics about photography but it's amazing you captured such a charming pose and expression on him in such a clear shot

well, partly luck and also this little guy was really happy to just stare at me, haha! i'd never photographed him before, so i think he was intrigued by the lens :meow:
my other hamsters are used to it, so they just run about like nutters making all the photos blurry :l
