Basically, his center of balance is really really far forward - even with the scyth there (which I had a hard time really placing it in the picture, it seems like an Escher drawing there) giving him balance, there's no way that pose is stable, yet his torso is straight, upright, and still.

ahh well i was using the scyth as more balance.

Wouldn't have worked in the position he's holding it even if the haft was planted where it should be, which is a bit farther to our left and 'closer' to the point the end would be just off screen. Even then, the center of balance is *way* off where the center of support is, and his torso is straight and upright,

Would have been better if his torso was angled forward a bit more, leaning on the side holding the scythe, and have the end of the scythe planted at the base of the rock in front of him.
