Biography:
The rat known today as Lord Malphas is probably the most dangerous criminal in David’s world and he has a been a thorn in the side of many countries throughout the world.
The rat that would grow into Lord Malphas started his life in absolute misery, as one of the many abandoned children in one of the great cities of the Ilishan empire.
From very young age Malphas experienced nothing but anger, violence and famine, dragging himself from day to day, stealing and begging the necessary for surviving.
Unfortunately, one day he robbed the wrong person.
His victim was a nobleman of his country that, although maintained the face of a respectable man in public, in reality was the leader of a powerful cult that worshipped a group of ancient and powerful demons know only as “those that lurk below” and sought to unleash these dark beings on Earth..
Malphas found himself captured by the nobleman’s guards by the end of the day and was thrown in a dungeon inside the mansion of his captor; he believed that he was going to be tortured or executed for his crime but his ultimate destiny was going to be far worst than then every mortal fate known to furkind.
The same night the members of the cult after many years of preparation were finally ready to the final phase of their plan to unleash an apocalypse on Earth.
Needing a living host as a vital part of the ritual they decided to take advantage of the capture of Malphas and use him as the mortal vessel that would host the first demon summoned by the cult that then, according to the plans of the sect, would have opened a portal for allowing his demon brethren to pass into the mortal world.
However, during that faithful night, something went wrong.
Even tough the sect was successful into evocating the demon who then took possession of Malphas body, the demon for refused to do what he was supposed to do and didn’t open the portal.
The demon then quickly proceeded to slay all the members of the cult, making sure to not let a single member living. He also completely destroyed the nobleman’s mansion, probably for being sure to destroy all the information about himself.
After naming himself Malphas he started an aggressive conquest of the criminal world of the city and then he started to expand his operation in his country and then all over the world.
It is said that he has the control of every criminal activity, from the smallest robberies to the greatest acts of terrorism over the last century.

Personality:
Like most demons Malphas is evil, cruel and power hungry. Also he completely lacks of any kind of moral, sense of justice and honour. He judge everything only in matter of how much he can gain for himself and although occasionally he has behaved “honestly”, he has also shown to prefer much more to betray and warp agreements in his own way.
He mostly act in a regal and sophisticated way, avoiding rudeness and foul language, but he also has a very high superiority complex. He generally views almost all beings around himself as ants.
However, despite finding mortal things to be beneath him, at the same he seem to take great pleasure into enjoying the privileges that his status and wealth as a crime lord allows him to taste and he is know to conduct an opulent lifestyle.
In fact, his luxurious and greedy nature, was actually the reason that lead him to betray his former comrades demons, refusing to allow them to rampage on the world.
Although he has claimed to have not a real interest in the world’s fate at the same time he has also claimed that he finds more pleasure into “living in a luxuriant world instead of battling over a desert wasteland”. He also claimed, in a more pragmatically way, that “senseless destruction, although undoubtedly fun at the start, in the end leaves you with nothing to play anymore”.
His superiority complex also reflects in his ways of fighting; most of the time Malphas prefers to surround himself with henchmen to do his bidding as he claims that he “dislike getting his hands dirty with mortal’s matters” . Nevertheless, on the rare occasions when some opponents seemed to pose a real threat he has always been ready to jump gladly into action himself, probably because he deemed the situation worth fighting for.
Although he is merciless and inhumane, to say the least, he has enough of an understanding of furkind to successfully manipulate and control people when his powers aren't enough.
He has also shown to have actually quite a good sense of humour when in good mood.
However since his “good moods” most of the time appears when he is beating, torturing or killing opponents it is most unlikely to find people that would laugh at his jokes.
His demonic nature also manifest in his quick changes of temper; he can change from an almost perfectly calm and cold individual to a bloodthirsty psychopath in a matter of moments, if he is irritated enough.

Powers and abilities:
Thanks to his demonic nature Malphas posses a wide variety of powers and abilities, both physical and magical.
His physical powers are similar to those of half demons but a much higher degree.
He is super strong, super fast and also posses super endurance and a powerful healing factor.
His saliva is a powerful acid poison, able to corrode almost anything (with the only exception of Malphas’ own body of course as well as some mystical or magical artifacts).
He has shown the ability to emit a powerful sonic blast, that can even disintegrate stone and concrete walls.
He generally appear to be invulnerable to common weapons. Only enchanted weapons or powerful spells seem to have any effect of him.
His demon nature makes him a powerful sorcerer, well versed into the darkest spells known to furkind. His magical ability surpass that of almost every sorcerer on Earth and he has shown an exceptional skills and mastery of the most powerful and complicated spells.
One of his most frightening powers is his ability of devouring and enslaving the souls of other beings. He generally uses this ability only against powerful opponents and he generally seem to consider the use of this power, in his own wicked way, as a great honour as he has often claimed that his victim “should feel honoured into merging with his absolute power”.
Once he has absorbed his opponents soul he can choose to evocate them whenever he wants and he can also provide them with a physical body, most of the time even empowering them with more powers. This process apparently can be repeated endlessly, providing him the possibility of having a never ending army at his disposal.
His most characteristic power however is his ability to open portals; although this is not an offensive power Malphas has used it at his own advantage travelling through the various dimensions for the purpose of capturing and enslaving the souls of powerful warriors and beasts.


Threat level:
Malphas is quite possibly the worst kind of criminal you could ever meet. He is powerful and dangerous even to the people who serve him loyally, so quite obviously there is no telling how dangerous he can become to people that cross his paths.
Most of all, his love for pain and suffering make him a particularly vicious criminal that would gladly inflict all the pain possible just for the pleasure of doing it.
