I think Ill call him Bay, at least for now. The stripes on his legs are going to be scattered spots in most drawings I think. If anyone draws him do whatever works best for you
A sketch thing I did for myself after I got my laptop back from repairs to get re-used to the different aspect ratio before working on commissions (and making a terrible mess of them because what is this screen now).
This here is a design I adopted from ReflectedTearz on DA here - http://reflectedtearz.deviantart.co.....osed-450736506
I had just faved it because I liked it and they offered I could have it if I wanted. Struck me as really nice so I gave 'em some points and here we are~
Name: Undecided (Any suggestions?)
Breed: Mutt (Husky and Greyhound primarily)
Gender: Male
Alignment: True Neutral
Personality: Cocky, Impulsive, Energetic, Know-it-all, Independent
Background: He's a street dog, as he grew up and as he prefers. He has trouble understanding anyone who would choose to be a pet, and is far more of a "go it alone" sort. He grew up along with his "sister" and "mother" (both not related to him but to each other), along with his actual father, although his father was rarely present. He idolized his father and as soon as he could be considered old enough he forayed out on his own, since then he has fallen in and out of groups but has always been more of a loner. When it truthfully comes down to it he is a bit awkward when he has to deal with others, having had minimal practice, rather than coming off as a "cool guy" loner of few words he more often then not just talks himself into corners
I'm not sure about those stripes, I think I might change them either to toe makings or more abstracted spots rather than pretty clear stripes.
I dunno, this was just a bit of fun really haha, tried to stray away from my default canine details
I've started including alignments in my character designs, it's useful for thinking about your character and really trying to get into their head a bit deeper than the outward characteristics most people usually give
