Princess Twilight and Lauren are forced to make cheap garments at a fast pace for Miss Rarity for export to the Crystal Empire. The only way she can compete is by slave labor prices to ensure a massive markup when she gets the imitation clothing on the street. A stallion at the door ensures they don't leave, and she's promised her buyer 1000 new outfits by tomorrow....
Note: This idea popped into my head after seeing my favorite episode of the fourth season, "Rarity Takes Manehattan". During the preparation for her fashion show, she must create a whole new line of clothes (for a largely nudist society) and commands her friends to work, demanding they do so at their own expense. The irony of her ordering a princess of Equestria to slave away and the adorableness of twilight saying something along the lines of 'you said you'd feed us' made me think of Sweatshop Rarity, the newest toy from Hasbro's 'day laborer' line.

besides, Twiley is still kind of new at the whole 'princess' thing, and still thinks of herself as 'one of the girls,' no better than anypony else in the group. They each have their strengths and weaknesses.
Those wings did not make her faster than Rainbow Dash, Stronger than Applejack, nor did she gain the animal communication of Fluttershy, the gen-finding ability of Rarity or the fourth-wall-bending of Pinkie Pie. Everypony has something that they can do better than the rest, and nopony is completely overshadowed by another pony's ability.

That episode made me feel bad for rarity. She did went a bit overboard but nevertheless... I especially hated that one character that stole her designs... In fact... That episode teaches you that even if a person is nice to you, you'll never know if they will take advantage of u or not
