Initially it was only mushroom based but plant type centaurs have been added. Excuse the lack of references though.
It is a silly idea for anyone to use.

You can make a centaur following this guide thing, and if you have questions you can ask. Or if you have cool ideas you can suggest them as well.
I've dragged ***Hokousha*** into this a bit since it's their fault I thought of this crazy stuff.
But...It's just for a silly idea to get other's thinking and stuff if you're bored.

Type types of centaur:
Plant type: Flowers and/or plants grow on the head/back.
Fungi type: Mushrooms grow on the head or back.

-Mini-guideline for creation.
-1 Common 1 Rare type Plant or Fungi
-Hoof-y things usually. No paws/claws/bird feet.
-Like Horse, Bull, Deer, Llama, even a Camel or so, and any fusion of whatever!
-No limit on colors, horns, antlers, etc. Tail can be any length/shape.


Plants/Fungi
These are just ideas. you don't need to use names like this.
A centaur grows 2 types of fungi or plant.
One common type which grows constantly, and one Rare type that grows as frequently as once a month or slowly as once a year.
Plant types look like flowers, while Fungi types look like mushrooms.

Known fungi types:
(This is honestly just for basic ideas, no need for the stupid names if you don't want them either.)
Poisonous Type - Makes humans really sick.
Rare Poison Type - Extremely poisonous to humans, makes centaurs sick. Can be made into anti-venom against snake bite. (Cure human within 36 hours with a heal type or death may occur.)
Tasty Type - Used in human cooking.
Rare Tasty Type- Favorite of chefs. Valuable for cooking.
Cure type - Cures simple conditions like colds
Rare Cure type - Cure a cold, headache, stomach ache, or light pain in under an hour
Heal type - Can be used as an ingredient common medicine
Rare Heal type - Can be used as medicine for common sicknesses (Counters Latogiif)
Sleepy type - Causes Drowsiness, good if you can't sleep.
Rare Sleepy type - Eating it raw can knock out a grown man for 2 days...better be careful

Known Plant Types:
(Currently just ideas, do what you wish.)
Cure type - Good for headaches.
Rare Cure type - If used in tea, can help cure the sick faster.
Healing type - Can be used with other herbs
Rare Healing type - Used as medicinal herb, good for wounds.
Edible type - Tastes OK...
Rare edible type, - Valuable, used in food.
Scent type - Smells nice good for perfume.
Rare scent type - Valuable. Sought after for excellent perfume.
Sleepy type - Causes drowsiness
Rare Sleepy type - Puts someone in a normal sleep after 30 minutes.

Genetics
They can produce offspring. I hope this makes sense. . .
**Children of mixed parents are sterile and cannot bear children of their own!**

Mixed:
Female Plant + Male Fungi = Sterile Plant type (Inherits same flower as mother but the main color of the father's mushroom changes the flower to that color)
Female Fungi + Male Plant = Sterile Fungi type (Mushroom is likely the same type as fathers, but 50% chance of the magical property being changed by the mother's flower)

Pure:
Female Fungi + Male Fungi = 50% of inheriting father's fungi 30% of inheriting mother's, 20% chance of a mixed species with combined or new magic abilities?
Female Plant + Male Plant = 30% of getting father's plant, 40% for mother's plant, 30% chance of a mixed species of flower (Mixes colors of the one inherited) and that flower has a 20% chance of having a different effect than the parent's.
