Story:

“Ok.”
Sebastian ruffles Trent’s fur then scans him, “What else is on your mind, Trent? Whatever you’ve got on your chest, you can tell me. As butler of the Utsukushi estate, it’s mine and David’s duty to ensure that this mansion and the little ones that roam around it are safe and know that they have someone that cares for them. So,” He chuckles as Amy cuddles into his shirt, and he rubs her hair before facing Trent, “what is it, Trent?”
“Nothin’.”
“Alright then. Would you like to go play with Caiden, C.J., Olivia, Utsukushi, and Amy? Amy, C.J., and Olivia just left for the playroom. I can already hear them all playing Need for Speed. I think you’d do well, Trent. Why don’t ya go and play? David’s already back there watching over them.” Sebastian rises to his feet, “Come on,” and lifts Trent into his arms before heading down the hallway, “we both need some time off.”
Reaching the playroom a few meters later, Sebastian sets Trent on his feet. “Well,” He scans the children sitting around the TV racing their hearts out, “go on and play with them.” Sebastian smiles as he swats Trent’s padded rear toward the children, “Go on and play. Your Mommy and Daddy are going to be here soon ya know.”
“Actually, I need to be in my lab.”
“Very well then.” Sebastian smiles and hugs the cat teen, “I’ll be here if you need anything.” Releasing Trent seconds later, Sebastian watches as he vanishes down a trapdoor.
“Seba-chan,” Caiden waddles over to him and tugs on his robes, “where’d Twent-neechan go?”
Sebastian kneels down to Caiden and ruffles his hair, “He went down to his lab. Is something wrong, little one?”
Caiden yawns and raises his arms, “Jus tiwed, Seba-chan. When ish Mommy and Daddy coming backies?” He asks as he’s carried into the nursery.
“Caiden…” Mike chuckles as he sets Caiden on his feet and kneels down to him, “we’ve been here the entire time.” Mike smiles as his light brown furryself reappears from beneath the tiger that once encased him. Chuckling, he lifts Caiden into his arms, hugs him, “Your Mommy’s in the playroom watching over the children.” then sets him in his crib. “She’ll reveal herself later. So, how has everything been going? Don’t answer that, we already know. We wanted to observe you all from a distance, yet be right there if you needed us. So, we assumed David and Sebastian’s identities while they switched with us on the Titanic III. Nonetheless,” He ruffles Caiden’s hair before picking him up again and placing him over his shoulders, “I’m glad to see my baby boy.”
Caiden yawns again and cuddles into his Daddy’s hold, “So…so…you and Mommy were David and Sebastian this entire time?”
“Uh huh, we most certainly were. Actually, we always were. We always keep an eye on our children. Heh,” He pulls Caiden out at arm’s length as he walks over to the rocking chair and sits down, “Even if that means watching over you all in deguise.” Mike kisses Caiden’s forehead and begins rocking him. “So, are you surprised, Caiden-kun?”
Caiden nods and yawns as he’s rocked and cuddled, “Yeppies, I…I am.”
Mike nods as he continues to rock him, “I think you’re sleepy too. It’s 1:00 P.M. after all, time for your afternoon nap. So, does my baby boy want to take a nap?”
Caiden yawns again, answering his Daddy’s query before the adult rises and carries him over to the changing table. After a quick diaper change, Mike lays Caiden in the far right crib and kisses his forehead, “Have a good nap, my little detective. I’m going to see how your siblings are doing with the reveal of their Mommy/Grandmother.”
