Back in June, I gave you guys a choice between two original species of mine as asked which one you would rather have available to own! While the votes were very close both on DA and FA, i took creative liberty as the designer and chose species B:

I have since begun the labor intensive process of fleshing them out. This includes appearance, society, world, maps, cultural norms and things viewed as "taboo", anatomy and clothing. I am still trying for my August 20th deadline (when i move in to college) but this is alot of work in such little time!
But for now this is the beginnings of a reference for them.
Chokkeeri gender culture is loosely based off of the Bugis; a people who live in Sulawesi, Indonesia. They recognize five separate genders that and deemed necessary to balance the universe;
Male- Those born biologically male and identify as male
Female- Those born biologically female and identify as female
Calabai- Those born biologically male, but identify and live as female
Calalai- Those born biologically female, but identify and live as male
Bissu- An individual either born as a hermaphrodite, or where all aspects of both male and female are present. Usually seen as spiritual leaders, they embody both biological sexes in harmony, they are considered the most balanced and the closest to the spiritual world.
