One last look
I kinda feel sad. I will miss this little pond that I used to take walks around when I just needed time out of the house. It was the only thing nearby that I looked forward to because there used to be a lot of geese. Moving to Arizona I know I won't be seeing many green ponds like this anymore.
Luckily I travel a lot!
Next up: Alabaster chewing on some saguaro cactus and playing with a bark scorpion!

There are a surprisingly large number of lakes in the Phoenix area. Desert Breeze park has one that I used to go to quite often. There isn't much grass at Veterans Oasis Park, but it has a very good lake and the toads that come there during the Sumer give a cool background noise to listen to from about dusk onwards.
interesting. I didn't think there would be many. I know there are a couple but I'm also used to the tuscon area more than the Pheonix area :3
I'm sure I'll find a lot of lakes to take pics around. But thanks! Definitely good to know. Especially about the toads. I love those kinds of critters
