The first time Y'sla had a full Earth meal, she was surprised and shocked to find herself gaining weight as her food digested. Her body finally stopped growing, two or three times heavier than before.

When asked if she was okay, she started crying. She then explained that gaining weight on her planet was an honor only afforded to the nobility and wealthy.

So for someone like her earth-friend to treat her to such a fattening meal is just about the highest compliment one could give her.
