Is it bad that I genuinely enjoyed and had fun with Poodle Hat and Alpocalypse? Now, you're approaching this from a different point, as a musician rather than some clueless numpty like me. But still, they were fun. I liked, for instance, Ode to a Superhero, Skipper Dan, Party in the CIA and... well, sadly, albumbs are blurring together so I can't extricate Poodle Hat from Running with Scissors. So... Hardware Store was Poodle hat, right?

Poodle Hat was a shameless ripoff of everything that made Running With Scissors great. It had some good songs, like Bob, eBay, and the Angry White Boy Polka, but overall it was a pale imitation of its predecessor.

Alpocalypse I'm maybe being a little hard on, but quite honestly I listened to it maybe twice and I can't really remember anything that's on it.

I listen to it all the time, mostly over Poodle Hat and Running with Scissors.

The titles that really stand out for m. Are "Perform this way", "Skipper Dan", "Party in the CIA", "TMZ", "Polka Face" and "Stop forwarding that crap to me." (Which reminded me a bit of a low-key "Virus Alert.")

Stop Forwarding is great, but I can't stand Perform This Way because I can't stand the original. I also find Skipper Dan horrifically depressing rather than, y'know, funny. Party in the CIA has always struck me as "wha?" and the Polka's just okay as his go. I actually prefer Craigslist and CNR.

If Dave Grohl has a soul, he'll cover "My Own Eyes".

Okay, that would be amazing.
