Evidently carousel horses don't like being indoors. Wichita Botanica bought Joyland's old carousel and is restoring it for inclusion into the garden.

The world's largest manufacturer of carousels is located in Mansfield, OH, just about an hour from my house. Not only do they build new carousels, but they also rebuild old ones. I wouldn't be surprised if they're the ones chosen to do the restoration. They do some fantastic work. http://carouselworks.com/shopTour.htm
