I dunno, this is just an underpainting.. kind of? I have no clue how to paint at all :( bleh lol anyhow, I'll probably play with this more tomorrow.

Wahhh thank you! You and Han have been making me want to learn to paint so badly lol, usually when I try it comes out looking pretty muddy though hahaha, I just need to keep at it until I learn!

My tips are paint dark to light and make really big shapes first (because it's much easier to paint detail over your big color blocks than paint your big color blocks around detail). Beyond that, it's really a lot of shape watching c:

Ahhh I'll keep that in mind, I jumped the gun adding small details to this quickly just because I wanted to see it with markings before I slept, but kept them on a separate layer so that I could go back to painting without them tomorrow haha :D
