Heller Gaines, most commonly known throughout the six galaxies as the Harbinger, has lived his long life in blood and secrecy. As a representative of the Milky Way branch of the League of the Order intergalactic assassins guild, his impressive track record as an effective killer is well renowned. Known best for his stealth and tracking, his targets seldom see him coming and are usually found dead days later in their own homes, sitting as though they were comfortable with their hiding places. Though there are survivors to his skills, they seem to be deliberately left alive as though to make a statement. The notion that he never fails to kill a target is one widely circulated. There is the ongoing rumour that the Harbinger once dueled with the infamous Keno Boss decades ago, but the two had called for a unanimous truce as neither seemed to make progress against the other... Speculations are abound as to whether it is true or not.
Throughout the history of the League of the Order and its six galactic branches, never has there been a more effective assassin placed in the Representative's rankings, and the guild had argued his promotion to the galactic Leader's position for decades, but every decision has an argument, and with that argument come reasons. During the ceremony in which the Representatives were chosen for each galaxy, the Milky Way made history by naming not one, but two galactic Representatives for itself. As thorough and cunning as the Harbinger was, his rival, known only as Edge, was named an equal representative to the galaxy alongside him. The stealthiest assassin in the six galaxies stands at equal with quite possibly the most brutal. An unmarked span of time later, the rivalry between the two became both violent and legendary...
