in all seriousness :) thats actuly quite a sturdy sword design. If I remember correctly, that style of sword is actuly forged from one huge piece of metal, at least in the real world. it isn't like the blade and hilt are made seperatly then attached together. these swords were just expertly crafted out of the same piece of metal at the same time..

or I could be compleatly wrong about that. I'm a fan of swords, but not an expert at them by any means.

Plus the ribbons look nice. but they shoudl be longer :p with lead weights attached so they can be used as aditional weapons to smack enemy's in the face once they get too close. nothing says 'powned' like a small round lead ball to the side of the muzzle ^^
