Have you ever had one of those days where you want to draw something... I hate to say generic cause that sounds harsh, but just... something commonly done I suppose? I'm sure we can all confess that the world of internet animal/anthro art is filled with badass looking canines and a shorter few, but still a good handful, of neon-colored art and moooore than plenty of works with texture of every type slapped and overlayed over them. It's not a bad thing, not at all, but it's a common occurrence. But least it's usually pretty to look at.

For some reason I felt like drawing something like that today. Doodle, rather since this was more of a 1 hour speedpaint.

Dude is based on an old Hyena-type character in a discontinued comic of mine. He wasn't really much of a hyena since he was a weird hybrid critter, but I stuck to the hyena base. Features are kinda "eh" for the species so I hesitate to really use it (Hyenas are distinctly different from canines people like to draw them as) but I'll go with it since it's the base reference.

Anyway, this literally hurt my eyes to color! But it was a fun little break~
