A 'sneak peek' video of a new tail design I have developed. A current customer asked for a more innovative, flexible tail and this is what I came up with.

I rely on my customers a lot to tell me what they want to see - I can design and build a lot of different things but it's quite the time-sink to create a new idea, prototype it, fix the kinks, find new materials, make the final design, test it, etc so I like to know that it's wanted first :p
As far as I can tell, this tail is currently unique in design and function - It moves more like a yarn tail while sticking to the normal 'fursuit' look. It is very simple to wear and very comfortable. I am happy with how all of my hard work on this has panned out.
I have no plans currently to make tails like this stand-alone (no fursuit) yet but perhaps in the future I will work out a design for that.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQQ1YSAmze0 (you'll have to find part 2)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GJNooFwNw8 (this one would be really complicated,.. heavy,.. expensive and most of all probablly hard to fur,.. but maybe if your really bored)
http://rarsuit.livejournal.com/44876.html (this one works bout the same as one of those wooden snakes from 90's and earlier)
most i see are ones where people use pool noodles...i'd love to see different idea's ;) but here's the ones done so far

It doesn't need to be complicated, you could use a steel cable as the spine like in my (shameless plug) tail http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12775851/. My tail design uses a servo to make the tail wag, but you could also attach the cables to your legs to make the tail move.
