This is a very special commission I got done by
It's of Ashton, me, in an Afghanistan-like landscape. I commissioned Huskie back while I was in Afghanistan to portray my character in the environment I was in while there.
This piece definitely means a lot to me. As my enlistment is slowly drawing to a close, I wanted something to commemorate my time in the service. I browsed through many great artists to see who I'd want to do something like this. In the end I chose Huskie. Her quality is amazing. I commissioned her a few other times in the past and her work is spot on. Her realism is what drew me to choose her, plus her professionalism with her work, dedication and perfection.
In my work, I fix/repair avionics systems on the HH-60 Pave Hawk. I get to travel to some neat places, some pretty bad places and everything in between. The helicopter I work on is a rescue helicopter. Our pilots and PJs go out in combat to help rescue the wounded. If you've ever watched Inside Combat Rescue, that's my people! I'm very proud of what I do, even if it's something small as fixing radar. But it's that radar system that helps find the wounded, plus many of the other systems I repair.
Anyways, before I bore you to death with my job, just wanna say thanks for everything you did, Huskie! This came out so much better than I thought. I knew it was going to be very detailed but not like this! It's absolutely amazing! This is worth every penny, if not more. I cannot thank you enough <3
(Those who don't know, the Pave Hawk is the Air Force equivalent of the Army's Blackhawk but with different systems inside.)
Time for credits!
Artist:
Char: Myself!
Pave Hawk: Sikorsky.
Please no anti-military drama. If any are posted, you'll be reported. Thank you in advance!

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12861410/ See! You can see his curl tail behind him :D
But thank you too! It's definitely been fun being in the Air Force. I can't wait to pursue other things though. I've done one of my dream jobs as a kid, now time for another one :3

I tried joining the army... but they appearently don't like dyslexics even though my scores on the paliminary testing where in the 90s xD and they wanted a guy with low 20s to come back and test again after he failed twice o.O military is confusing
And that is not a doge at all! I see orange fur and pointy ears! hehe :P but I'll relent and say it is a doge (because it isn't like i've seen purple foxes before or green dogs @-@)
