Turn your head and cough...
Taken at Califur IV.
Shot using a Canon Rebel GII on Kodak 800 speed film. Which, of course, leads to an interesting story. I had only that one roll that I shot on Friday, which I tried to find a place to develop on Saturday, and being as how I was a half-hour north of Irvine, trying to find a place that could develop the film without having to drive way out of the way, I gave up and hopped on the 605 South with a jump over to the 405 Freeway going South.
Anyway, I somehow manage to drive into a CVS that just happened to be within walking distance of the hotel, and on the first of what would be many warm days. So, I drop off the film and drive off to park at the hotel. Now, instead of driving back to the pharmacy, which could make for an already costly adventure, I walk. I arrive, swimming in my own sweat, to pay for the film. I was caught slightly off-guard by the cashier when he asked if I was a skunk. Seeing as how I was too worn to give an interesting answer, I say "Yes", pay for my prints, and leave.
Walking around at the con, I decide it would be a good idea to give away pictures of all those who I'd taken them off, this one included. Much to my avail, there was only one fursuiter I could find to give those prints to, and it was Caspian. Almost gave a few to the two hyenas that were there, but not quite.
Oh, well, I hope I receive better luck in such ventures at Midwest Furfest, if I am fortunate enough to be able to attend in November. Comments, questions, concerns.
