I was going to rewrite the Oath and got as far as "In Brightest Day, on Blackest Friday" and then got lost of Rhymezone for 30 minutes. I am not a poet.
Part of a sketchbook trade/gift I started in 2013 (Anthrocon) for
drakefenwick, and only finished inking this year, then decided to colour up because I rarely get to work on, let alone finish, anything of my own.
Aymee might have the will for being a Green Lantern, but maybe that is not the Corp. for her... (though she refuses to consider Orange because "with [HER] hair??No way!" and she apparently is uninterested in violet due to "fashion failures" and how she doesn't want that anywhere on her if that's the dress code...How do I end up with such snooty characters?!

Words and attitudes expressed here are solely Aymee's and not mine! I have nothing against the Green Lanterns! I'd be aiming for Blue myself, because they're nifty. The world could use more hopeful optimism.
I will admit I'm not sure if Green Lanterns do get paid... it always seemed like a Voluntold/doing this out of the goodness of your own moral code sort of deal. :X
