Kay, so this is not anthro related at all, but I dun care XD
Sooooo, I did a thing X3 Or at least I am very far into the process of doing a thing. Have I mentioned I’ve fallen head over heels for the Winter Soldier? *coughs* ANYWAY!
I’ve been working on this arm pretty much nonstop since Friday and finally finished it up Tuesday. I do plan on completing the full Winter Soldier outfit, but for the time being, I’m a more casual Bucky.
If you'd like to reblog on tumblr (pls? I have very few followers <3 ) please reblog from my post here:

The arm is…. duct tape base with craft foam cut into the segments, painted with a glue mixture (I got from crownless-again on DA's tutorial.) (seriously - check out her awesome homestuck cyberarm tutorial - it gave me a LOT of ideas and the confidence to try this project:

Then, I spray painted it with metallic silver (it’s shinier in person), and added a spray gloss coat to it to make it more water resistant and shiny. Then I painted on the star, and worked a metallic silver sleeve through it for places it gaps. The fingertips are sculpey painted silver so that they are harder.

I hadn't considered that material - but if I ever try another shot at this, I might :3 The foam/duct tape, granted is super light weight and was easy to shape with the right shapes and a bit of heat tempering. I'm not sure how well flexible ducting would be to shape to my arm size, but definitely something to consider :)
Thank you so much! :D I really appreciate the feedback, and I'm excited about getting the whole thing with the black outfit together (though I had fun picking out an appropriate wardrobe in the interem X3 ) It's been 10 years since I last cosplayed (not counting Halloween/Ren Faire costumes, but those were all not specific characters). So I've been having a lot of fun obsessing X3
I try to keep FA my more "finished" pieces, so I probably won't be posting segments of Cabin here (and it would take almost literally forever to upload all the pages here with the uploading system). I sometimes post teasers of sequences on my FB page, but I try to keep that clean. I could post a clean-content page up there, though.... P:
