So, yeah. I missed monday's stream but I have good reason. Lemme explain...

As part of my attempt to slim down on how much stuff I have, I'm getting rid of the 37" LCD TV I had been using for my comp. As a result, the only working monitors I had available at the time were a pair of bulky CRTs, and a then non working Dell LCD. Well, after poking around some, doing some research, I found a suggested repair that didn't look too hard. Involved taking the panel apart and replacing any bad (bulging or busted) capacitors on the board. So, opened it up, sure enough. Found a pair of caps that had ballooned up. Picked up some replacements, soldered them on, then crossed my fingers.

In case you're wondering how that went, I'm currently using that "broken" lcd. It's not so broken anymore. :D

So yeah, just a little ink work and an announcement for those that watch me, that I'll be streaming xcom tonight. Planing on starting about 8 PM US central time. So those that wanna watch, you have been warned.
