I've been inspired by Silv marvelous scale crafts and I was like "I want to do that too". And well... this happened.
The scales are semi-homemade, they're plastic and pretty thin and fragile, but I guess the effect is not bad. There is even a slight clicking/clacking sound while bending the wrist!
They're crocheted into some kind of fingerless glove/wrist warmer pattern that I made on the fly.
I'd love to get some pretty anodised aluminium scales from The Ring Lord, but shipping overseas is a bit too expensive for me. And every European reseller I've found has cheaper and faster delivery, but the scales themselves cost about two times as much :C oh well.
I was wondering if anyone was interested in buying something like this? Or if there was a bigger demand then I'd have funds and a reason to buy the aluminium scales in bigger quantity and craft with them instead (and fulfill my shy dream of working with those beauties)

Well, it's alright. I was just asking you to describe how you want the gloves to look, including the lenght, colors, patterns, direction of scales (pointing like here to the hand or to the elbow) and anything else you come up with. And also how much you'd want to pay for them, because I don't have a set price yet (and it'd depend mostly on lenght, like twice longer would need twice more work and also on amount of colors). Plus, it looks like our post don't like international shipping and charges a lot, like 20$ to France, but I guess they're at least tracked.
