Species Arachnid

It all depends on the species you're taking care of; if it's a spider that makes webs/suspended webs such as an orb weaver or funnel weaver, then it's fairly easy to take care of and feed since they don't require food too often since they kind of just sit in one spot/space for long periods of time, so maybe once a week or 2? If it's something like a wolf spider or jumping spider, then they actually need to be fed a bit more often, like once every 2-3 days, then there are tarantulas, trapdoor spiders, etc. a fair bit of research to find out what makes each kind comfortable is usually the bet method to making sure your arachnid is happy and healthy
Ah righty, that's pretty interesting stuff, I didn't actually think that certain species could go without being fed for so long. Research is key with all pets I think, especially ones that have such specific needs as certain spider species do. I've always wondered about getting one as a pet, then I realised that I've got so many spiders living in my room that I probably already have a small zoo of them. X3
Yeah, it'd be much easier to keep a spider you found inside the house as a pet since they're already accustomed to the inside environment-setting inside spiders outside is actually very dangerous for them-just the slight nuances in temperature, humidity, etc from outside compared to inside can actually kill them-and it's vice-versa for spiders found outside as well
It's a type of ground spider, it might just be a subspecies of wolf spider (they change depending on location of the world).
Ironically, the arachnid family is so VAST and continuously evolving, biologists discover new species on a daily basis.
Either way, typically ground spiders do not have venomous bites. Aside from...Australia. Then you are boned.
Though, that is a different class of arachnids that are ground-dwelling who are venomous/Poisonous: Like the Goliath spider (Poisonous), the funnel web spider, and the violin spider.
Wolf spiders are odd, because there species changes. For personal examples, I lived all around northern united states wolf spiders all my life, they wher very fast forest dwelling spiders and if they saw you they darted across the room away and tried to flee.
HOWEVER.
I encountered a Southern united states wolf spider and they are MEAN and will attack unprovoked...
...spiders are just an interesting class of species. ^^;

That does sound very interesting, didn't realise there was such noticable behaviour differences within the same species. I've not known many wolf spiders to attack or bite at all, the species I tend to get bitten by the most is woodlouse spiders.
I do like that there is such variety with spiders! Makes them so fascinating, just watching them wander about or spin a web is hypnotic, although I find that watching most creepy-crawlies is pretty hypnotic.
