my best friend has a dog, and he has a similar problem (only with rats instead of snakes, haha). he always runs away or shouts to the dog to ''drop it drop it, drop it!!1111'' ...yeah.
its funny, and this comic pointed out a good problem: dogs may love you, but sometimes they give you the wierdest ''gifts''!
