And here's the other half of that pair of angels, Judgement.
In theory, and angel of judgement isn't really supposed to DO much; they're just there to bear witness to human sins and pass judgement, at which point an angel of redemption takes over. This particular individual, however, has somehow split off from its partner and seems to have decided to play both judge and executioner.
