The client wanted a tattoo that depicted the old myth that the Halcyon [King Fisher] would blow away the stormy seas in order to restore calm before building her nest. Requested in a more Norse influenced style, I once again thought the Rangerike style would be the best contender to elaborate the ornate waves and wings. Being said, it's clear that I also merge concept of the Urns style in, so give it a less rigid, and more fluid movement.
