This was a pic drawn for  HoboLobo27. He presented me with a scenario that sounded rather like an illustration for a Dungeons and Dragons encounter where these three figures emerged from a forest clearing to see their destination city had been ransacked by invaders. It's not often that I do backgrounds since they both take awhile to execute and I'm not very confident in my ability to make them visually compelling, but this piece ended up looking pretty acceptable.
