In silence, he pauses, lost to quiet contemplation. The world around him has reached a peculiar stillness, as though frozen for a moment in time. His whiskers twitch in reaction to the light breeze; the only sign of motion amidst the still. Perhaps only in his dreams may he experience such peacefulness, but within them, each moment will he cherish. The conflicts of a hunter put aside, the jaguar runs. Runs, for the pure and simple joy of running. And perhaps, away from the notion of being roused from his fantasy and awakening again.

I used this piece to experiment a bit. Something about my painty style was brought to my attention and since then it's been driving me nuts, so I'm doing a bunch of speedypaints to try different things to deal with it. Always adapting.
