Eh, I wouldn't say that being somewhere between SS1 and SS2 is laughably weak. The series should have ended after Cell, where Piccolo was #3 or #4 in the universe, depending on how he compared to Vegeta. Remember that at that point he was stronger than #17, who was the stronger of the androids.

Also, the scene between Kami and Piccolo on the lookout is now the canonical one in my eyes. I mean, DBZ:Kai actually made the series fun and watchable and enjoyable and trimmed most of the fights way, way down, but it couldn't do anything about some of the more mediocre writing. TFS <3

The best part of Abridged is the fact it's handled by people who really GET Dragonball and all its quirks, and the voice acting sometimes blurs the line of parody and legitimate dubbing. XD
