Clash: The Never Ending Rivalry (Valora390 Request)
8:00 am was Sonic’s wake up time, right after his 8 hour or longer power naps. As everyone who follows my continuity knows, this is around the time when Sonic get’s his morning freebie’s from his hot dog vending pal, Bert Kowalski. Bert was also the one who introduced Sonic to his true love, chili dogs. There was no Amy, random male, other universe character, or obligatory insert fan fiction character love interest. Chili dogs have stolen the blue blurs heart, and they are the one thing that manages to get the hyper active hedgie to sit still for a while. That alone is a grand feat by such a tasty object.
Too excited to bathe or even brush his teeth first, the blue blur in a whirl wind of super speed slipped on his socks, shoes, and jetted out the door. Surprisingly he managed to bust out of Tails’ house without breaking the front door this time. However he did manage to make a mess of the house, and leave the door open like a dunce.
The blue hedgehog ran over the hills and through the jungle, leaving after images of himself in his wake. Images that showed a hungry hedgie, eager for his morning treat. Nothing was going to stop him from getting what he wants. Eggman was locked up at this point for a change, and the hedge ray from before promised to steer clear of his favourite food. Sonic closed in on the vending cart slowly as to avoid causing an accident.
Upon his arrival, Sonic’s green eyes whitened. He stood speechless before a cowering Bert, and one of his greatest rivals. Sonic was horrified at what he was looking at. A sight so disgusting it made his heart sink. His special chili dog was being eaten by someone else. He watched as his chili dog was finished off in one last bite, followed by slow chewing motions and one last swallow.
“HOW COULD YOU!” Was all Sonic could yell, before he was rudely interrupted by a belch.
“I heard this was your favourite little spot. I could see why.” The diabolical food stealer said as he licked the chili stains off his glove.
“You’ve gone too far this time, what’s your end game?” Sonic asked, obviously extremely ticked off as his teeth were grinding against one another.
“You shamed me in our last encounter in that void, and I intend to win the tie breaker faker.”
“Heh...if you wanted a round with me, you could have asked Shadow.” Sonic said with a grin.
“I probably could have, but seeing you futz over such a worthless thing is priceless. I’ll admit though, your chili dog was tasty.” Shadow bragged, being the third person to ruin Sonic’s pass time.
“I’m sorry comrade Sonic...he was too strong for me.” Bert said huddled up under his vending cart. The little guy didn’t have any powers to combat the ultimate life form. He was beaten to the ground and forcibly handed over his crowning masterpiece “The Holy Dog.”
“You should feel honoured handing over your food to me.” Shadow said with a low chuckle. “Fueling the ultimate life form gives your life purpose.”
“I've had enough. You wanna tussle, fine. Let’s take it someplace away from bystanders.” Sonic said with determination in his voice.
“Fine by me faker, lead the way.” Shadow offered.
“Try and keep up Shads, if you think a fake like you can.” Sonic said before dashing off. Shadow followed suit after uttering a simple grunt.
Bert watched from his hiding place as the two took off. “Am I the only one who finds their bickering annoying?”
The two hedgehogs went cross-country just to avoid the possibility of running into anything living. The two were pretty neck and neck in speed. Even though Sonic was called “The Fastest Thing Alive”, Shadow with his air shoes did rival his own speed. It’s a good thing they didn’t have all seven chaos emeralds with them, as a battle between two super forms would be far more devastating than the regular speedsters. Being both invincible as well, it’d also be pretty pointless fight too until one of them reverts to normal. The pair stared at each other as they ran through forests and lakes. Even today Sonic was pretty amazed someone could keep up with him beyond his casual speed. The only other person or rather thing to be able to do that was Metal Sonic.
Eventually the two stopped in a canyon wasteland full of deformed rock formations. This type of area is pretty barren and a good place for the two to go all out if they so chose. A barren canyon also seemed like a traditional area for a super powered brawl. The two jumped onto opposing cliffs. The face off was about to begin. The clash that is very reminiscent of another bunch of warriors who tend to do the same thing. You know the ones.
“Just a few stretches before I beat ya again, don’t want to pull a muscle.” Sonic said while doing a few casual leg warm ups.
“It doesn’t matter; you’ll practically be a corpse when I’m through with you.” Shadow said as he took a stance.
“Oh and one more thing.” Sonic said while loosening his arms. “Drop that chaos emerald, unless you feel you can’t beat me without cheating.”
Shadow huffed before responding with chaos emerald in hand. “I wasn't planning on using it. I always try to keep one on me, but I never needed this anyways.” Shadow then tossed the yellow chaos emerald behind him. It tumbled down the cliff and bounced a few times against the ground below.
“Alright then Shadow, time for round 6.” Sonic said. He put his left foot forward and arched his fists in a simple boxing formation. He did a few practice jabs in anticipation for the first attack.
“I’m surprised you could even count to 6.” Shadow responded as he griped his fists. He took a wide stance with his left fist out front, and his right fist hanging back at the side of his head.
The duo grinned at each other and as the next few moments were in silence. Sonic and Shadow were waiting for an opening before either one of them would strike. Sonic was at the disadvantage due to his impatience. Shadow knew chances were he’d come rushing in before he got bored. Sonic was well aware of his own weakness as he was bored in just one minute. He hated waiting more than anything, but he didn’t want to screw up. Sonic’s stomach lowly growled, and interrupted Sonic’s concentration. Sonic winced and held onto his stomach. The poor thing missed the Holy Dog. Fighting on an empty stomach was just going to make this fight that much harder for the blue blur.
Sonic’s stomach gave Shadow the opening he needed as Shadow lunged toward Sonic at supersonic speed and kicked him in the face with his dense air shoes. Sonic had no time to react as he was sent flying into a massive boulder down the canyon path. The giant rock collapsed upon Sonic and the rubble poured onto him. Only one of Sonic’s shoes could be seen outside the pile the blue blur was buried under.
“Finished already?” Shadow scoffed. “Pathetic! People actually compare you to me. What a joke!”
Sonic’s shoe hanging out of the rubble twitched. A groan could be heard before Sonic suddenly burst out from his little tomb, and into the air. Sonic was in a ball formation as he somersaulted in the air a few times before landing on his feet. “Ow ow...that one hurt a little.” Sonic said while rubbing his face.
“I guess this is to be expected after all, I did expect more of a fight.” Shadow replied as he once again prepared for combat. He braced his back and re angled his arm and footing positions.
“You just got lucky, it won’t happen again.” Sonic said as this time he arched his body lower, while keeping his boxing stance.
“I’m gonna hear that excuse a bunch aren't I.” Shadow responded before dashing towards Sonic again.
“Just try me pal!” Sonic announced before charging at Shadow with a homing attack.
The two collided and bounced off each other. Both hedgehogs were propelled backwards from the impact. At the same time they planted their feet on the ground, and dashed forward through the canyon. Side by side the blue and black blurs traded punches with each other. Sonic aimed strictly for the face and gut of his black menace, while Shadow directed his focus on the throat and abdomen of his blue nuisance. Sonic had the more random and improvisational fighting style picked up from his fights with the many foes he has faced, while Shadow had a stricter martial art style he picked up from his G.U.N. training.
Rather than a traditional fight, Sonic and Shadows battles felt more like a racing contest, rather than the traditional confined brawls of most warriors. The two spin dashed through solid rock and constantly kept trying to get a shot on one another. Shadow’s hands began to glow as he prepared his next attack. He jumped above Sonic for an aerial strike.
“CHAOS SPEAR” Shadow yelled, before sending forth a barrage of chaos energy to attack Sonic.
“Woah!” Sonic said with a gasp as he quickly juked and feinted his movements, making himself more unpredictable and thus harder to hit.
Chaos spears flew by left and right of Sonic’s sides, but with his super speed, he managed to avoid Shadow's attacks. Shadow counted on this as early on in the fight he picked up on Sonic’s short coming. Not letting up, Shadow let loose more chaos spears in front of Sonic’s path to cause the blue blur to change direction.
“Would you let up on that?!” Sonic shouted as he stopped running, then swiftly changed him momentum into a cannon ball like attack.
Sonic's spin ball form thrashed into Shadow’s gut, causing the black blur to wince in pain. Sonic didn’t give Shadow a chance to recover as he got out of ball form, and pushed off Shadow’s head for a little boost. Shadow looked up only to be rammed in the forehead with a hard axe kick from Sonic's right foot. Shadow grunted in pain as the blow caused Shadow to hit the ground at faster than mach speeds. The resulting impact created a significantly large crater. Sonic was all smug as he landed on his feet. He rubbed his black pointy nose, feeling triumphant.
“Well, looks like you’re the one who’s on the wrong side of my foot. Hope you liked your acquaintance with it!” Sonic gloated. Sonic’s stomach than growled even louder. “Oooo...perfect time to have finished the fight, I’m starved.” Sonic said to himself as he began walking away from the impact zone.
“Fight’s not over faker.” Shadow said smugly. He was standing behind Sonic and dusting himself off.
“Darn, you just had to be one of the tougher and more stubborn ones.” Sonic lamented.
“I am the Ultimate, and you've already lost.” Shadow pointed out.
“Fat chance buddy, I can have you beat in time for lunch.” Sonic cockily stated.
Shadow laughed at Sonic’s comments. “Of course an amateur like you hasn't noticed your attacks have gotten weaker over the course of time.”
Sonic was puzzled at what Shadow meant. He was feeling pretty good. He wasn't sick or anything and he didn’t feel tired. “You’re one strange loony, I haven’t even broken a sweat!”
Sonic’s stomach then once again grumbled, causing the blue blur to grasp at it. “Easy there buddy, I’ll get you something to eat real soon.” Sonic said, talking to his stomach as if it were a person.
“That’s your weakness fool. You’re running low on energy, your weak stomach makes you an easy opponent.” Shadow lectured.
“Oh yeah...well try this then!” Sonic proclaimed as he charged in and threw a right punch.
Shadow effortlessly dogged to the left, both of his hands behind his back to show he wasn't even trying. Sonic growled and charged in again with a flurry of punches and kicks. None of them did any good as Shadow seemed to be the faster of the two now.
“Could Shadow have been holding back all this time?” Sonic thought to himself as he kept trying to land a hit on the black hedgehog. However he kept missing each decisive attack, only making his moves slower and weaker the longer he kept trying.
“This wasn't much of a fight.” Shadow said as he brushed Sonic aside with a single kick to the blue blurs right cheek.
Sonic stumbled back and fell onto his stomach. Sonic laid on the ground confused. “What’s wrong with me? Why am I too slow?” Sonic pondered in his head. He then felt his stomachs growling and empty feeling once more. “Of course! Because I’m fighting at this intensity, it must be making me hungrier, and since that faker ate my breakfast, I didn’t get a chance to energize myself.” Sonic theorized.
“I never had to try much from the beginning.” Shadow mocked. “You weren't that much of a challenge.
“Well it looks like my only option is to let my instincts take over again. Otherwise I may get beaten to a pulp.” Sonic brainstormed. He knew he was pretty much out of options.
“Consider this game over.” Shadow said as he lifted his right shoe, preparing to crush Sonic’s head.
Sonic emptied his mind and allowed whatever instinct he had to take over. His skin darkened a little to a darker blue colour. His sclera soon followed turning redder, with his pupils showing red veins as if blood vessels in his eyes popped. Sonic growled lowly as if he was some sort of animal now.
“I didn’t know you were such a primate faker.” Shadow said, not being intimidated in the slightest.
Sonic chuckled lowly, his voice now slightly deeper and more menacing. “It’s fools like you who think they can take advantage of my food.”
Shadow’s brow rose a bit. “Interesting, you really think this little spook act is going to beat me?”
Sonic chuckled once more. “You know I was looking real forward to my breakfast. Do you know what happened to the last couple of people who ruined my meals?”
“If you’re going to bore me with a lecture, don’t bother. All I really need is crunch your head to put you to sleep.” Shadow said, still composed and about to stomp on Sonic.
Shadow lowered his right foot and aimed for Sonic’s face, prepared to end their brawl right here and now. Sonic in the blink of an eye caught Shadow’s right leg with his left hand, and grabbed it tightly. Shadow winced as the grip was pretty tight, more so than he’d expect from Sonic.
Shadow growled. “Let go of me this instant.”
“I’ll let go of you alright.” Sonic cackled. “I’ll let go of you right into my special place.” Sonic continued to say as he lifted Shadow up with one arm.
Shadow’s eyes widened. “I swear if you just suggested something vulgar like that, I will tear your head off!”
Sonic’s eye’s lowered out of sheer stupidity. It seemed someone had seen too much fan work again. So without even responding, taunting, or wasting any time, Sonic just got right to his intent. Sonic opened his maw as wide as he could, and lowered Shadows head right in. Sonic quickly shut his lips down, pressing against Shadow’s spines so he couldn’t pull his head out.
“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!” Shadow yelled. He never thought Sonic was capable of such a trick.
Shadow on reflex braced his left knee and attempted to nail Sonic in the face. However Sonic had his right palm out and blocked the blow. Sonic chuckled and licked Shadows spines. He soaked them with saliva and did his best to dampen them. That way they would lower and be easier to swallow. Shadow could smell Sonic’s morning breath; the damn blue jerk didn’t even tend to personal hygiene. Shadow gagged from the smell as he felt his head slowly be dragged to the back of Sonic’s mouth, and into his throat.
Sonic swallowed hard, sending Shadow’s head into his throat, while managing to get Shadow’s spines into his mouth. Shadow continually tried to attack Sonic with punches and kicks, but Sonic just swallowed up to his shoulders, making Shadow’s arm flailing a non issue. Sonic then gripped onto Shadow's legs to keep them still. Sonic gulped once more slowly. He could feel the bulge of Shadows head sink into his throat, slowly making its way down to his growling stomach.
Shadow was powerless to stop his descent. If he hadn’t given up the chaos emerald from before, perhaps he could have escaped. Could Sonic have planned this all along? Shadow doubted it as he didn’t think Sonic was clever in the slightest. His thought process was interrupted by the blasting heat of Sonic’s stomach. Sonic removed Shadows gloves and inhibitor rings. So long as Sonic kept on the pressure, Shadow would be unable to build up an actual attack. Not only that, but without the inhibitor rings on his wrists, Shadow would drastically lose power.
Sonic slowly gulped in Shadows chest which had his signature chest hair. Sonic slurped and skipped by it as fur and hair aren't really tasty. He then closed in on Shadows stomach. Being still mad at what Shadow did beforehand he nipped and bit down against it. Shadow groaned in pain as Sonic’s sharp teeth bit into him. Shadow had been through a lot worse, so the pain was nothing to scream about. Sonic had his minor revenge from that action, and so he then gulped down Shadow’s stomach. Sonic allowed his throat muscles to continually lower Shadow into his fleshy prison.
Shadow saw the opening to Sonic’s gut welcome him as an entry way was forming. Shadow closed his eyes as he was lowered head first into the gurgling belly. His face splashed into the little saliva pool at the bottom. Shadow coughed and spat out the juices that went into his mouth. They tasted disgusting. On the outside he felt Sonic remove his shoes and socks, as well as his leg inhibitors. Shadow desperately tried to pull off a chaos blast, but his power was fading fast after the inhibitor rings were taken from him.
Sonic felt the bulge in his stomach slowly expand and become round and luscious. He was feeling like his old self before his modern weight loss. But Sonic was only going to get bigger and rounder by the end of this. Sonic eyes slowly returned to normal as his stomach was filling. His skin also brightening a little to signify his primal instinct was fading.
Back on the inside Shadow felt his tail be slurped up, as well as his legs slide into Sonic’s maw. This was probably the second most demeaning thing he has ever had happen to him. The first being an unspeakable favour he did for Maria. What was that very deed? You may just find out another day...maybe?
Sonic used one index finger to slowly push in his rival’s feet. He casually licked and tasted them. Sonic was a little dissatisfied that he wasn't going to get a fight anymore, but at least he’d be full. After slurping and enjoying the taste of Shadows feet for a bit, Sonic closed his eyes and swallowed one last time with a loud “GULP!” Shadow soon completely descended into his new home. He ate the blue blurs food, and now Shadow became it. Shadow felt the last of him be deposited into Sonic’s stomach. Sonic patted his fat round gut in triumph. He managed to be the victor and break thier tie. Sonic rubbed his soothing smooth belly happily. Shadow didn’t taste too bad to it seemed. Sonic would have preferred the holy dog Bert made, but this was the best substitute he’d have for now.
Sonic’s stomach gurgled and quivered on the inside and outside. On the inside Shadow wasn't moving too much as his power was all but drained. He forcibly heard the obnoxiously loud sounds Sonic’s belly was making. He felt the fleshy prison walls squeeze and move him around, as well as sloshing and churning sounds. Sonic opened wide to release the built up pressure from inside.
“BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAP!”
Sonic’s wet belch splattered his fat tummy with stomach juices from his gut. Sonic brushed his belly to clean off the saliva, but he felt good. A full stomach in the morning was the only good substitute for his extremely tasty treat he missed out on. Shadow also got some love from the stomach juices as his face was splattered from the loud wet belch.
“Looks like I win faker.” Sonic gloated. “Hope you like sticking around as you’re not getting out for a long while.”
Shadow growled loudly. “You disgust me blue hedgehog, I will have my revenge for this atrocity.”
“Well til I get some Holy Dogs, you’re not going anywhere.” Sonic said while caressing his belly. “Too bad you can’t struggle for me in the mean time.”
Sonic then rested on his side once he lowered himself to the ground. He planned on relaxing a bit after the fight. He didn’t expect to claim this kind of prize, but he at least got something from the battle. Sonic rubbed his belly and belched some more much to Shadows annoyance. Shadow would have to wait til Sonic got his Holy Dog hours later before he would get out. In the mean time he was stuck inside the stomach of the blue hero he was not fond of. He planned on getting his vorish revenge when he regained his strength. Little did he know he wasn't the only one thinking that? For you see several hours after Sonic left the door to Tails house open, a certain weasel crook snuck in and stole everything he could get his gloves on. If Sonic didn’t fall asleep, he could hear a loud rude cry from his best friend.
“GOD DAMMIT!”
