Oh my goodness, the marker gods have SMILED apon me for i did not think this was gonna turn out as nice as it did. (the anatomy gods however, have poked me in the eye, there are a few probs but i never claimed to have the best anatomy/prospective skills lol))
It's a whole nother type of coloring style that i had never really tried before, since i prefer to do more of a cellshading with my art. So i thought it was gonna flop, but it doesn't look too bad lol. Kinda rough and messy lookin' but that was the goal. This was taken with my digital camera cuz its too big for my scanner, 11" x 14" sketch pad. I was also afraid that the paper wouldn't take the inks well, but it looks like it held through all the inking over and over in some sections. Also, i'm not used to working on such large sketch pads. But i did enjoy this because it gave me the oppertunity to add lotsa detail.
All in all i am pleased.
I was going to auction this off to anyone(s) interested, BUT, my BF Jeremiah has sweet-talked me into letting him have it and frame it in out new house after we move lol. Who knows, maybe i'll conjur up another one, i DO like to draw fearsome critters after all :3 ..Gawd i hope he's not too cute looking -_-;
