I'd been wondering what became of the feral fourth member of the Mountain Gnoll's group, now we find out who/what it is and learn its name. Depending on Vascarl's intelligence and free will, Moroz may have just made a tactical error by leaving Vascarl with a very specific command without providing commands for other situations or contingencies.

I suspect that Meg was just waiting for Moroz to be distracted or leave before transforming. I've been waiting to see what she'll do, particularly with that Air Breathing spell on her.
