Comet is this furry speedster I came up with a while back. I love speedsters, like the Flash and Impulse. The tomato monster was inspired by a friend who sent me some random Ursula Vernon pics.

So I'm thinking... Fighting with a couple of Opium Poppies? Huh? Is that some kind of symbolism for fighting addiction? I mean, I can handle symbolism, and I can handle superhero furries, but not in the same picture!

Are you serious? This picture deserves SO many more pageviews, if only for the HILARIOUS concept alone! "Sun-Ripened Death"! Let's just hope nobody makes salad dressing out of that particularly nasty vegetable! And great job on Comet, I looooved Quicksilver from X-men, so I sympathize with the speedster thing; they've always got that sleek look, and you've captured that perfect here. +fav!
