Well shit.
I'm down a hole. I need £250 to pay bills, I don't have that and I have to somehow produce it... Not sure how exactly.
So hello nervous breakdowns.
And then this happened. Shooting pains through my wrist. I got this cheapass brace to try and help with that.... But as someone who relies on art for money, this is a disaster...
I'm gonna curl up and cry now...

Hi!
I've been dealing with this problem since December. It's not fun. I've been in physical therapy for it. Ice it immediately and keep the brace on. If the brace doesn't help, then you may actually need a spica brace ( http://www.amazon.com/Mueller-Medicine-Reversible-Stabilizer-Measure/dp/B004YIFA2C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405474236&sr=8-1&keywords=spica+brace ). Spica braces support your thumb which is more for tendonitis/ tendonosis vs carpal tunnel which affects a different part of your hand. If you feel a weakness in hand strength and pain in your wrist/forearm when trying to grip, then it is likely tendonitis.
Take an NSAID and avoid anything with salt that can cause excess swelling. The important thing is to rest rest rest. If you need to draw, do it in short stints and ice it. Apply heat before you draw to help limber up your hand.

Thanks for the advice! Thankfully we have a bag of ice.
And thanks for offering to buy the brace I appreciate that ; ; I have a UK account so I searched there for spica braces, I added two to my wishlist, I'll let you choose which is the superior one, they're both cheap =3
