Zaisan and I recently took a road trip through Texas. We went through a lot of tiny towns. We spotted this sign in one of the towns but I've no idea which one.

I don't know about the small towns, but Austin has a few "1/2" roads. It's actually probably easier to renumber the streets in small towns than a place like Austin when some alley gets turned into a street, or when a street just doesn't exist in all places. (e.g. http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=austin,+texas&ie=UTF8&ll=30.301742,-97.734751&spn=0.00515,0.008283&z=17 )
