The Painter

I'm the man who paints the stripes upon the zebras,
And I also paint the warts upon the toads

I give the leopards lovely spots
And add some color to the chipmunk's coat.

I paint the flaimin' red on Robin Redbreast,
I pour blue on the bluegills by the shore.

I splash some silver paint on him
And he shines more brightly than he did before.

Jack Frost? He's just a part time workin' fellah,
Touchin' up the leaves and trees and things
He's famouser than me
But I'm happier than he
'cause I paint the ones that runs-- and flies-- and sings!

YOUR CHARACTER HERE AUCTION:

ABOUT:
K is painting your character! What they're adding, and your character's pose, is up to you! Maybe K is painting on your characters colors and they're totally transparent where they haven't been painted yet! Maybe K is adding their spots/stripes/other markings, maybe even adding a new marking or painting over an old scar. Or maybe just adding a fun temporary decoration! OR MAYBE K has made a terrible mistake and decided to paint pink polkadots or "I <3 butts" onto your character! (It happens more often than you'd think!)

Characters of any type are welcome! Taurs, macros, humans, robots, dragons, anyone! The pose would work better with a character at least as tall as K's paintbrush, but we can put them on a platform if they're very short. Mind that there is no upper limit for character size. Maybe your character is so large that they can only squeeze their foot into the studio and K is making a feeble attempt to paint their toenails!



DETAILS:
Starting bid is $50 USD to add one character to this drawing, pose of your choice. Drawing will be finished in full color and shading akin to my 'colored sketch' style but with more refined linework (linework already complete as above, color example: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12775617/ )

Please bid in comments below. Serious bids only. Minimum increment of $5 please.

At $120 ($125 outside the USA) I'll mail you a signed 8x10" archival print of the finished drawing. At $170 ($185 international) I'll make it an 11x14" print.

If you wish to add more characters to the drawing (maybe a couple of friends or lovebirds getting matching designs?), it will be an additional +$50 USD for each additional character on top of your final bid.

AUCTION WILL END: Sunday, July 27th at 20:00 (8 PM) Fur Affinity time (USA Eastern) or ten hours after last bid. The long cooldown time is for people who live in strange time zones and may be asleep at the auction ending time.


And just FYI with convention season upon us it may take me until the end of August to complete this piece.

Rambling:
So... apparently I've reached a whopping 5000 watchers. It kinda blows my mind. That's five thousand people. That's... that's a lot of people! Man what if you were all in a room or something. Scary.

I never planned to be a furry artist... it just sorta happened. But if you were to tell my ten-year-old self that I draw animal people all day for a living, I'm sure Kid!Me would be thrilled. I can't thank you guys enough for helping me get through the last few years. You are such a wonderful community.

I'm not sure how many winners there will be; depends on how much space the YCH winner takes up. Your character may be shown in whole or in part (ex: a study of their feet).
