Oooh very cute, if I ever play a sorceror or wizard in Pathfinder again I believe I'll have a skunk familiar as well.

I never do. It's awesome. I put skunks in the most recent game I DM'ed (using the stats in the Bestiary 3) but the players avoided them.

Yeah, it would've been great to get them sprayed though, have you seen what it does in-game? Really plays up the nastier effects it has IRL. I've been sprayed IRL so much that none of that nausea or sickening happens to me, not even the blindness.

Musk (Ex)
Up to twice per day, a skunk can spray a stream of noxious musk at a single target within 10 feet as a standard action. With a successful ranged touch attack, the creature struck by this spray must make a DC 11 Fortitude save or be nauseated for 1d4 rounds and then sickened for 1d4 minutes by the horrific stench. A successful save reduces the effect to only 1d4 rounds of being sickened. A creature cannot use the scent ability as long as it is affected by this musk. The save DC is Constitution-based, and includes a +2 racial bonus.

Yep, that's it. I wanted to inflict that on the 2nd-level adventurers I sent into a dark forest with both skunks and giant skunks, but they copped out on me and said they recognized skunks even though their characters were from another world. That's what I get for giving them that kind of artistic license. I guess I could've made the skunks enchanted and hostile somehow, would've been fun since nearly everyone in the party were furries and had the Scent ability so it would be great to shut it off with a spray ;3

i would argue why the skunk is bigger then the rat, but i saw the word familiar so *shrug*
