Hi! After looking through your gallery, I’ve found that I like your art style. I think it’s very unique and it stands out from other fanart in the Sonic fandom. So talking about style and quality of drawing, this drawing is pretty good (Though I think it could look better if the shading wasn’t so solid and was blended) I just have some problems with the context of the picture.

Personally, I see romance as something that is give and take and is not forced on someone and is returned happily. The context the “romance” in this picture holds is not true romance in my opinion. I can understand that the intention of this picture was to show love between your fan character and Sonic, but the “romance” is shown – as far as I can see – as being completely one sided, forced, uncomfortable and shallow. On Akai’s part, she doesn’t seem to return any affection by will and in my eyes that’s not love nor romance. And she seems in distress and uncomfortable with being a slave to Sonic’s love, which I can state, is not romance at all. Romance and love is being so attached to the person that you feel like you are heaven when in their presence. Wanting to keep them because of an obsession with their beauty is not love; that is pure lust. This brings me on to Sonic. In this picture, he is displayed as creepy and not the good, light hearted but cocky hedgehog that he is. He is pictured as someone who is shallow enough to ‘love’ someone regardless of their personality, and someone who disregards the feelings of the opposite party and forces his love onto her if or if not it is returned. Again, lust, not love. This is what makes me like this picture a little less.

Overall, it is aesthetically pleasing, but the context does downgrade the quality of the picture when you go beyond, “Oh, that looks pretty.” So, a good picture, I just don’t like the context.

This is treating your character as a mere object and saying that is something that should cause happiness and is okay is not morally right in my eyes. I feel like the image could, if drawn with different context, could be beautiful in both context and art style.

Yes, you just could've made it clearer in this image and the first one you linked me to. And that's cool, it's just that in this image and a few others it comes of as a little possesive and treating her as an object without remorse. But I know that was never your intention.

I like to say that I don't like things but I like to know whether it was the intention or just say that it probably wasn't the persons intention because that gives someone the time to explain. I've made a few mistakes, and people still attacking me for that. Despite I apologized, there's coming rants on YT, hate arts on DA, gossiping, calling and make a fun. I found one person on DA uses my arts even with adult stuffs to make a fun on DA. I wrote many journals on DA, becasue I get many problems with them and I asked of help. I was break. I didn't know what to. And people calling still as drama. On YT still attacking me and my Akai, "slut, rape-fetish, mary-sue, hypocrite, protagonist". I really have enough.

An also, when you made the picture of sondadow, saying that it sounds like Shadow is raping Sonic, I was offended. Yes, I was very mad, but in reality I respect homosexualism. On DA are very exterme and weird yaoi pairing and maybe it made me mad. But I've learned respect other's works "they have the same right to draw like me". Sometimes I see yaoi couple, I take a deep breath and see that quote. I really trying. But I saw many offended me hate arts with spreaded lies, and I was very sad and break. I did explanation, huge explanation, but people said, "you don't have to explain yourself". But those action so much hurted me and I needed explain that. People just don't know the real reasons of my moves, but they think know everything about everyone. How come?

I, personally, like yuri. It's not because I'm a fangirl, but I emphasize more with two girls in a relationship that two guys or a guy and a girl.
