Fanart of Wulf, Lightsworn Beast and Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter. They're from Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game.

*2100 ATK BEATER OUT OF NOWHERE / OHGODTHEPLUSSES / PROFIT*
One of my main decks, probably the most fun and powerful too. Yes, even counting the big factor called luck that you must count when playing with one of these. xD
According to the wikia, Lightsworns are a heroic group that travels in space and time to deal with a dangerous threat. With that in mind, I made this illustration of Wulf and Ryko, answering the prayers of someone by starting a spell to teleport to the according place and time. The place they are would be the temple depicted in their field spell card.
I know the realm of light should be more blue, sunny, maybe cheerful, but I wanted to make it with a little sense of mystery, or danger. Also, their designs is not exactly the same as what their card pictures show and that was intentional (e.g.: Wulf's original gloves don't show his fingers and are brown).
I don't think I got the exact result I expected, but it makes me so happy to see them like this, as more than just a card. *_*~

Such a beautiful pic you did here! that temple looks really amazing, and the idea of the stained glass is well made and wonderful ^ ^
As for the characters, pretty clean and well done with the colors : D Normally I got difficulties working with white characters, but this looks natural ^ ^

LOL And I thought I was the only one that had trouble drawing white characters!
I dunno if it's the same problem, but mine is that I always wonder if they will be mistaken for a gray character. I just have to trust the lighting and setting to help in this matter and keep going faithfully in what i'm doing. @@'
Glad you appreciated it, thank you very much~

Exactly! it´s practically the same thing I´ve been trying to avoid. When you reach the part of shading, is not very easy to keep the white element over the body, not to mention that depending on the environment, the color you choose for the shading could change the white into something else ^ ^º In this case we can see a game of white, grey and brown/golden for the shadings, which is good because the lights looks like it. So nice choice for the shading ^ ^
Your work on this is unbelievable! The textures on the white fur are very beautiful and believable. It's gorgeous all around, and I like what you did with the background. This looks like a place I would like to go see for myself!
Wonderful piece of artwork. You should be proud. :)

Like I said in the description, I had no need to follow the Lightsworn designs or story perfectly. Their concept and OCG lore was enough to create this image.
Also, your information is conflicting with their lore. Be careful when making these statements; try providing the source to back it up beforehand.
And yes, i'm a duelist. But since my soundcard broken, for some reason, YGOpro and DN are not working anymore. :/ So, sorry!

There certainly are some nasty decks around... Maybe I'm just a traditional guy who wants to quickly summon a bunch of strong monsters with perhaps some defensive abilities. Fighting against someone who just prevents me from attacking can be annoying.
And no problem,I admire people who draw stuff like this. I'm just a hack and I can at best remake some official art into higher resolution....

When I got back to playing Yu-Gi-Oh! I always wanted to make a light based deck. That's when I first learned about the Lightsworn and starting building the deck, and, HOLY FUCKING SHIT, I loved those guys! It didn't even matter if I had to send cards from my deck to the Grave, it just made them even more powerful!
Wulf, Lightsworn Beast. Is a personal favorite of mine. And I normally called him out using the "Foolish Burial" Spell card
