I just received your letter and I hasten to make my reply. The health is still very good and I wish is the same thing for you. I don't have a lot of things to tell you, it's always the same life, we don't see a lot of people, we are in the countryside. For have some fun, tomorrow, we will prepare a little party*. Yesterday at the evening, we had an alerte but there were nothing of serious, they are not come. I don't see anything else to tell you.

Je viens de recevoir ta lettre à l'instant et je m'empresse de te faire réponse. La santé est toujours très bonne et je désire qu'il en soit de même de vous. Je n'ai pas grand chose à vous apprendre, c'est toujours le même vie, on ne voit personne, on est en pleine campagne. Pour nous distraire un peu demain, on va préparer une petite fête*. Hier soir, on a eu une alerte mais il n'y a rien eu de grave, ils ne sont pas venus. Je ne voit plus grand chose de nouveau à t'apprendre.
Je t'embrasse de tout mon cœur et embrasse bien toute la famille pour moi. Marcel.
