Old Mother's Day pic, this time of one of the saddest scenes ever made. A baby, separated from his mother, and put in prison just because she was trying to protect him from bullies.

Mrs. Jumbo in my non-humble opinion was by far the most devoted mother EVER. She was given a baby that was CLEARLY not her own, yet she accepted and loved him dearly, LIKE he was her own. (Now, it could just be that the baby had a deformity, but this was what I saw whenever I see this movie.) This seemed to me like the most perfect example of a mother's love. An unconditional love, a REAL love.

It doesn't matter how many times I see this film, Baby Mine always makes me cry. It was torture drawing this, actually. I was crying the entire time. Dumbo is the little baby I always wanted, but I can accept the fact that I may never have him.

ANYHOO, a little something in dedication to the ONE day, devoted to those wonderful women (the ones who are worth anything, in my opinion,) to show just how wonderful they really are. Love your mothers.
